Sorry, but you MADE it a lot smaller than necessary! Why just not simply stop when the colour first showed up and leave it bigger and more "edgy"? Hard to take that you are complaining when it is your own decision. And from other comments I know, I am not the only one around who LOVES the "free form" ! A 'trianglish' shape would make an awesome ring or pendant.

Curious why you didn't put more of a dome on them. Was there not enough thinckness on some of them and you wanted them all the same or was it because of the rectangular shape or how you plan to set them or ?

Perhaps some form of mild pressure washing, mild abrasive tumbling or steam treatment if the mineral wouldn't be damaged during the process before taking it to the abrasive wheel. I'm no expert but I hope it could be a useful suggestion.
